Only Quality Firms Can Go The Distance

THREE businesses have featured as qualifiers in the Fastest Growing Awards for the past nine years. MAP Marketing's Maria Charlton said the performance of all three had been outstanding.

"When it comes to the provision of goods and services, the Hunter and Central Coast is a very competitive environment," Ms Charlton said.

"Since the Fastest Growing Awards were established we've seen a lot of businesses come and go. But there have been many survivors . . . businesses that have not only survived but have continued to grow despite competition and despite the economic climate.

"There's no doubt that this region makes a significant contribution to the nation's economy. I'm delighted to see that there are businesses out there that continue to be consistent performers."

The three businesses recognised for being award qualifiers for the past nine years are:

? Anglican Care, an innovative and progressive aged-care service provider founded in 1956. It seeks to provide an environment where excellent care and quality lifestyle are offered to its residents. Recognised for quality services and friendly community spirit, this care facility was founded on a set of Christian values and believes in the equal treatment of all residents and staff through mutual respect, honesty, encouragement and teamwork.

? Central Vein & Cosmetic Medical Centre in Broadmeadow has been recognised as a leading and innovative cosmetic and laser treatment facility since its establishment in 1990. Doctor Paul Thibault has dedicated his career to improving health-care options by pioneering new methods of correcting major varicose veins as well as other facial and body conditions using minimally invasive, non-surgical procedures.

? The RM Group's chief executive officer Bill Freeman leads this financial planning and general insurance broking company which provides people in the Hunter with excellent financial services from a team of friendly and helpful professionals who get to know the needs of individual clients. The RM Group was founded in 1975 and has provided Australian homes and businesses with a wide range of insurance options as well as independent financial planning and self-managed superannuation services.
